Haelee Miller, BS, SAC-IT

Mental Health Provider
Substance Abuse Counselor – In Training

My compassion and direct personality help me to create a positive therapeutic connection and emotional safety for clients. I aim to meet you where you are, ensuring that progress and work is focused on your specific needs and wants. I enjoy getting to know the whole person, and what makes you unique. I take a biopsychosocial approach. This is a fancy way of saying we look at all parts of your life and how they impact your overall health, to ensure I am providing the right services to help you meet your needs and goals.

I enjoy helping adults learn coping strategies, process trauma, overcome abuse, manage hallucinations and delusions, and so much more. I believe that processing past experiences can greatly help an individual better understand their current emotions and find ways to lead a successful life.

I am, and have always been, intrigued by mental health. I find the impact that various experiences have on the brain, emotions, and an individual’s decision-making fascinating. I enjoy working with adults, believing we can learn new things and strategies at any age, to help us live a functioning and successful life. I have experience working in suicide prevention, creating programs to help provide awareness regarding suicidal ideation and what to do in a crisis. I also worked in an Adult Psychiatry Unit working with individuals with severe mental health concerns.
