Hlee Xiong, BS

BS Human Development & Family Studies
Mental Health Provider
UW Social Work MSW (Candidate, May 2024)

I am about to complete my first year as a UW Madison social work graduate student, and a yearlong internship at Elite. I am excited to continue as a mental health provider through the summer of 2023. Once I obtain my MSW, I plan to work toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Most of my work experience has centered around working with young adults with disabilities and older adults with Alzheimer’s. I’ve also worked as a teaching assistant with young children at an Early Childhood Education Center.

I believe in taking a holistic, culturally relevant, trauma informed, and strengths-based approach. As my client, I will support you on your journey, listen and advocate for you, while creating a space where you can feel safe. I will work to always provide care that is compassionate and individualized to your needs and growth.

As a provider from a marginalized culture, I am passionate about working with folks who may be struggling with cultural identity issues. I enjoy helping individuals build effective communication and social skills. I am especially interested in working with kids and teens but am open to working with all ages and demographic groups.
