Sarah Estrella

Advanced Practice Social Worker
Psychotherapist
Mental Health Professional

I’ve been supporting youth, teens, adolescents, and young adults for over 20 years within the educational setting, as a school social worker.  I enjoy assisting teens and young adults with a variety of needs, such as: identity exploration, concerns with school, anxiety, depression, trauma, alcohol and other drug abuse, peer or relational conflicts, grief and loss, and more.

Our work together will center on compassion and building a trusting, authentic partnership. I will work alongside you to leverage your strengths and develop a positive sense of self. We will process your challenges while acquiring skills, knowledge, and tools to meet your goals and reach your full potential. I strive to practice cultural humility and honor that your experiences, identity, and culture influence all aspects of your life.

I enjoy incorporating some fun into sessions via art, movement, and other practice activities. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My friends and family would describe me as genuine, funny, compassionate, and energetic and I can’t wait to share these qualities in my work with you.
