    Intern

    Pre-Licensed Mental Health Professional
    Master’s Level Counseling Intern

Hi, I’m Will Altaweel (he/him), a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern, offering therapy for individuals navigating emotional challenges, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. I work from a person-centered foundation, integrating psychodynamic insight and tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

My goal is to create a space that feels warm, curious, and grounded in mutual respect—where you can be real, feel heard, and explore what matters most to you. I’m especially passionate about working with young adults and men exploring anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and questions around sexuality. I also support clients navigating cultural identity and the transition into adulthood.
As a straight, cisgender man, I care deeply about challenging traditional norms around masculinity and offering a space where emotional vulnerability is welcomed and respected.

Before graduate school, I worked with youth at Briarpatch Youth Services, many of whom faced trauma and marginalization. That experience shaped my belief in therapy as a space for advocacy, connection, and healing. Whatever issues you’re facing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your path to wellness.
