Educator
Mental Health Professional
Hi, I’m Gigi—a former special education teacher turned mental health professional, with a heart for neurodivergent kids and their families. After five years in public education, I’ve carried my passion for relationship-based support into the world of community mental health.
My work is rooted in building trust through consistency, compassion, and a touch of playful flexibility. I create calm, gently structured spaces where kids feel safe to explore their emotions, build coping strategies, and grow in confidence and self-understanding.
I hold a Master of Education in Special Education and have extensive experience supporting children with emotional and behavioral needs, ADHD, and autism—especially in school-based settings. I love walking alongside children and families as they explore what it means to show up authentically in a world that isn’t always built with them in mind.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate. I focus on small, meaningful goals that help children and families move toward a life that feels joyful, regulated, and true to who they are.
I currently offer individual skill-building and psychoeducation services for children ages 5–16 and their families.

Outside of Work
Outside of work, I enjoy baking sourdough, going on walks with my dog, and spending quiet time at home with my cat. I’m always looking to learn something new, whether it’s through reading, listening to podcasts, or diving into a new sourdough recipe. I value time with family and friends and try to balance staying active with slowing down when I need to recharge.
