    Licensed Professional Counselor – Training
    Registered Art Therapist – Provisional
    Mental Health Professional

Hello! I’m Nicole Bieno, a Registered Art Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training. Before becoming a therapist, I spent eight years as a teacher. I bring a passion for working in the community and psychoeducation from teaching into therapy with me.

I work with clients of all ages, but I’m especially passionate about supporting adolescents, as they navigate identity, emotion, and self-expression. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally inclusive, neurodiversity-informed, and always centered around the unique experiences and strengths of my clients. I believe healing happens when we are able to express ourselves and are supported by our
    community.

In my practice, I use art as a tool for regulation, exploring experiences, expressing emotions, learning about mental health, and exploring identity. You do not need to be an artist to benefit from art therapy—the creative process encourages flexible thinking, builds problem-solving skills, and provides opportunities for joy and introspection for artists and non-artists alike. I look forward to connecting and
    creating with you.
