I show up to therapy as a real human first: grounded, honest, empathetic, and fully present. I believe meaningful change happens in genuine relationships, where you feel safe enough to be seen as you are, not as who you think you should be. Therapy doesn’t require perfection, only curiosity, courage, and a willingness to explore what matters to you.
Personally, and professionally, I am rooted in reality-oriented and existential perspectives, with a strong focus on meaning-making. Many people come to therapy feeling disconnected, stuck, or unsure of who they are beneath expectations, experiences, or survival patterns. Together, we explore how your lived experiences have shaped you, what gives your life purpose, and how you want to move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned with your values.
Having personally experienced marginalization, I understand the profound impact it can have on mental health, identity, and self-worth. These experiences fuel my passion and commitment of breaking down stigma and creating a therapeutic space that honors each person’s humanity, complexity, and resilience. I understand that life can be messy and chaotic, and I’m here to help navigate it.
I believe healing is not linear, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Each individual brings their own strengths, needs, hopes, and dreams, and therapy should reflect that. My goal is to help you clarify what matters most to you and collaborate on a treatment plan that feels both meaningful and attainable; one that supports growth, self-understanding, and assurance in being the favorite version of yourself.
I have clinical experience working with individuals from late childhood through adulthood across a variety of settings, including inpatient residential care, post-hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, and community-based environments. I welcome clients from all walks of life and strive to meet you where you are, working together to reduce distress while strengthening confidence, self-awareness, and emotional insight.
My therapeutic style integrates modalities such as DBT and trauma-informed care with experiential and creative approaches; including art, music, and poetry; recognizing that healing and meaning-making don’t always happen through spoken word alone.
If you’re seeking a therapist who will walk alongside you with honesty, empathy, respect, and a bit of exploration, I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
